Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TikTok Ads Connector (referred to as "the App" or "ZufaTech Connector"), a tool operated by ZufaTech that connects your TikTok Ads account data to Google Looker Studio for reporting and visualization purposes. By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Please read carefully: By connecting your TikTok Ads account to this Connector, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service in full.

1. Overview

ZufaTech provides the TikTok Ads Connector as a Google Looker Studio community connector. The Connector requests read-only access to your TikTok Ads campaign data via TikTok's Marketing API and passes that data into your Looker Studio environment for visualization. ZufaTech does not store, modify, or monetize your advertising data.

2. Eligibility

To use the Connector, you must:

• Have a valid and active TikTok Ads Manager account.
• Have a Google account with access to Google Looker Studio.
• Have the legal authority to connect and share data from the TikTok Ads accounts you link.
• Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

By using the Connector, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above requirements.

3. How the Connector Works

The Connector operates entirely through official APIs and does not modify your ad accounts in any way:

• Authorization is handled via TikTok's OAuth 2.0 flow. No passwords are ever stored by ZufaTech.
• Campaign performance data (impressions, clicks, spend, reach, conversions, CTR, CPM, CPC, and video metrics) is fetched on demand when you open or refresh your Looker Studio report.
• The Connector does not create, edit, pause, or delete any campaigns, ad groups, or ads.
• No data is stored on ZufaTech servers — it flows directly to your Looker Studio environment.

4. Data Access and Permissions

When you authorize the Connector, TikTok issues a temporary OAuth 2.0 access token scoped to read-only advertiser data. This token is stored securely within Google Apps Script's PropertiesService — a per-user, encrypted storage system provided by Google — and is never accessible to other users or shared with ZufaTech or any third party.

You may revoke access at any time by:

• Disconnecting the data source in your Looker Studio report, or
• Navigating to your TikTok account Settings > Security > Authorized Apps and revoking the Connector's permissions.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Connector only for lawful purposes and in compliance with TikTok's Marketing API Terms of Service and Google Looker Studio's policies. You must not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or misuse the Connector.
• Use the Connector to access TikTok Ads accounts you do not own or are not authorized to access.
• Scrape, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit data obtained through the Connector without proper authorization.
• Use the Connector in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction.
• Attempt to circumvent any rate limits, security measures, or access controls.

6. Third-Party Services

The Connector depends on the following third-party platforms. Your use of the Connector is also subject to their respective terms and policies:

• TikTok Marketing API — governed by TikTok's Terms of Service.
• Google Looker Studio — governed by Google's Terms of Service.
• Google Apps Script — governed by Google's Terms of Service.

ZufaTech is not responsible for any actions, downtime, or policy changes by these third-party providers.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Connector is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. ZufaTech does not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free access, as availability depends on TikTok's API and Google Looker Studio uptime.
• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data returned by TikTok's Marketing API — this reflects what TikTok provides and may be subject to TikTok's own processing delays.
• That the Connector will meet all of your specific business requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ZufaTech and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Connector, including but not limited to:

• Data inaccuracies or reporting discrepancies.
• Business decisions made based on data displayed in the Connector.
• Service interruptions due to TikTok API or Google outages.
• Unauthorized access to your account resulting from actions outside ZufaTech's control.

9. Changes to These Terms

ZufaTech reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Connector after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Qatar. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Connector shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar.
